This year, we’re making the MEAS Symposium a certified sustainable event!
Transportation
The McKimmon Conference and Training Center, located at 1101 Gorman Street, can be conveniently reached by active transportation and public transit.
- 15-20 minute walk / 5 minute bike ride from Jordan Hall.
- Served by Wolfline route 51 (note service changes due to infrastructure projects in Spring 2025) and GoRaleigh route 12.
- Free parking is available on site, but carpooling is encouraged!
Waste reduction
- We are limiting printed materials, so check out the detailed program online!
- We are using compostable products for all food service. Look for the clearstream waste stations for collecting compostable and recyclable items!
- Live plants for centerpieces and prizes!
